We haven’t been back from Haiti more than a week and already I’m missing that island. I feel like I wanna pull a Jack Shepard “We gotta go back to the island!!” Sure we are blessed in America, but there are no mangos falling from the trees while I walk in the morning. The 36 of us that spent a week on that island will forever be changed.
I woke up a few days ago humming one of the creole songs from the church. I don’t know the words but the tune was sure catchy. Those people could worship!! In our thinking they have so little and yet they worship and praise God for everything! I am done asking God to Bless America. He has blessed us and given us so much and what has happened? We have become an ungrateful nation. God Bless America??? How about America bless God.
